Research and Planning: Sun Shot

due to the bad weather we have looked at the weekly weather watch and it seems the only sunny day that we will have is going to be Monday 23th January so that is when i will be going to record and take pictures of the sun. This may change as you no the weather in England is never predictable so this may change.

Research and Planning: Costume and Props List

We have changed the props list to using golf clubs and cricket bats for the overground people.

For the underground people will be mostly the same for the props list.

For the costumes we are going to make it more modern and use normal clothing but use the brightness of the clothing for the overground.

For the underground we will be using the darkness of clothing to distinguish the two.

Research and Planning: Target audience

Carrying on with my teaser trailer we are finding out that the teaser trailer is becoming darker and darker each time we film and edit so we have now suggested that the target audience is now for an older audience with a certificate of a 12a. we have chosen this so children are still able to watch it if the parents or guardians watch it with them.

Research and Planning: Boiler Room

Today we have discussed the difficulties in our ideas for the energy cylinder.

After a large amount of research, we have found that large, clear, plastic cylinders are hard to get hold of, so for ease of production, we have decided to use one of the boiler rooms at college. This is convenient for us as well as relevant actors who are college friends of ours.


The boiler room we are using at college is simply amazing. The boiler is massive, and with a little bit of design, could look exactly how we want it to, all things considered. The sounds in there are also ideal to our production.

We will be using the boiler and boiler room to film all of our cylinder scenes

I will also pop up our audition poster up as we have done it but it needs to be put on.
